1 Purpose and Usage
　　 Outdoors AC high voltage vacuum circuit breaker of Model ZW16-12 (hereinafter referred to as circuit breaker) is an outdoors three phase AC distribution equipment of 12kV, 50Hz. It is mainly used to close and open the load current, overload current and short circuit current in the distribution net. It can be used electric substation, industrial and mining establishments' distribution systems as protector and controller, particularly in countryside electric network or places that operates frequently, especially be suitable for the electric network reconstructions of urban and countryside.
2　 Features
The noumenon of the circuit breaker adopts the frame of three poles in one case, which together with the control mechanism makes up the whole mechanism. The major circuit terminals lead out horizontally. The vacuum explosion chamber is fixed on the case horizontally by insulator and support insulating board. The major circuit is made up of conducting poles, conducting clips, drive mechanism and vacuum explosion chamber. The open or close action of the vacuum explosion chamber can be acted by conducting poles, drive mechanism, over-range spring, insulating regulating lever through major control axis and control mechanism. The circuit breaker is equipped with manual/electric energy storage device, controlled by spring. It makes the open or close action can be done by electric power or manually. The device equips over-current release to carry out over current protection.
